In order to continue to build a stable and sustainable business, Pontins™ has in 2005 undergone a Black Economic Empowerment transformation. In December 2009, Pontins was acquired by B&W Instrumentation and Electrical Limited. It is the combination of the earthing, lightning and surge protection synergies and years of commercial and practical experience that enables Pontins to provide protection solutions and advice for virtually any lightning or transient over-voltage problem in any industry sector.
Pontins is a proud member of the Earthing & Lightning Protection Association (ELPA) South Africa. ELPA was created to protect consumers, establish a uniform interpretation of the codes of practice, and help to regulate and advice the lightning protection industry.
